From submission deadlines to award ceremonies, this is where you’ll find all the latest updates about the Kolanut Awards. Discover important announcements, upcoming events, and highlights from past editions as we continue to celebrate excellence, creativity, and cultural pride across our community.

•  The 2026 Kolanut award ceremony is around the corner. The ceremony will be held on June 20, 2026 from 3 to 11 pm sharp at the following address: 401-403 15th Avenue, Newark, NJ 07103.​

• The submission deadline for the context is set for June 10, 2026. If you are participating, make sure to submit your contest before the deadline with all the requirements. Parents are asked to encourage their children to participate to the Kolanut award and submit their application.

• For the 2026 Kolanut award, we are thrilled to welcome two news awards that were not present last year:

The Stacy's Athletic Excellent Award, which related to passion about sport. Daugther of Reine and Bertin Folas, Stacy Folas started playing Volleyball when she was 13 year old. She since have strive to play in high school and now in college in California. read more about her motivation in the following flyer.

The Liam's Courage and Excellence Award that reward children with special need/education. The award is from the Ngamaleu family and dedicated to Liam. Although being autist, Liam is making great progress everyday toward more independence. He is animated with courage, determination and perseverance and is a testimony that everything is possible when we have faith and are surrounded by people that love us.
